This is one of the best vanilla sponge cakes. It is a super simple all in one dough. If you love pound cakes you have to test out this one. It’s simple and very fast to prepare. With the additional chocolate frosting on top it tastes even better.
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix together until it gets a homogenous dough.
Next prepare a sheet, (app. 35x35 cm), lay it out with baking paper and pour on the dough. Bake in the oven for about 40 to 45 min at 200°C top and bottom heat.
