Do you want a slice of a super moist and fudgy cake? It is very delicious and easy to make. Tastes best warm and fresh out of the oven. Because of its softness it tastes like a huge brownie.A simple cake with chocolate cream. 🙂

Ingredients

Step by step method

1. Step 

For the cream melt the whipping cream with the chocolate (70g) and chill the mixture for at least 2 hours. Melt the butter, remaining chocolate for the cake and water in a small so sauce pan, until you get a chocolate sauce. Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl and then add the eggs, oil and yoghurt. Pour in the chocolate butter mixture and mix until everything has combined well.

2. Step 

Pour the chocolate batter into a 28 cm. "Springform pan" and bake it for app. 35 minutes at 180 °C top and bottom heat. Whip the chilled chocolate cream and spread it in waves on the cake, which is still lukewarm. Optionally, you can decorate it with some chocolate chips. Bon Appetit!

Tips & variations

  • The cake tastes best fresh and warm out of the oven. Do not put it in the fridge, otherwise it will be too hard. You are also welcome to use half of the ingredients and bake the cake in a loaf pan.
