I leveled up the classic old fasioned rice pudding delicacy.
We all love this perferct warm and creamy winter dessert.
I layered it with a special apple filling added some vanilla flavour and sprinkled the dessert cups with some cinnamon. Let’s get started!
Boil the milk and stir in the rice. Cook it on low heat. (Add some more milk if needed.) Then stir in sugar, vanilla sugar or vanilla extract and butter. Make a taste test if your milk pudding is well cooked.
Now peel the apple and either grate or cut into small cubes. Mix with the applesauce. Layer alternating the rice pudding and apple mixture in 2 glasses. (I used: 250 cc = 9 oz) Finish up with rice pudding. Now you can decorate the desserts with some cinnamon. Chill for short or enjoy lukewarm as you like. Now the delicious rice pudding cups are ready to serve!
Add some almonds or brown sugar to the dessert cups if you like.
