How to make super fluffy homemade cinnamon rolls? I show you in my simple recipe:They are fresh out of the oven. Just a few ingredients are needed and it’s a super simple technique. Perfect to enjoy with a cup of tea. If you like you can add a cream cheese frosting. But even without, these snacks are super delicious. 😉

Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

step by step method

1. Step 

Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Mix flour, sugar, salt and cardamom powder in a large bowl. Then add butter and the yeast mixture and knead the dough. Add a little more flour if necessary. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

2. Step 

Knead the dough again. Divide it in two parts and roll out two rectangles. Cover them with the melted butter. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over the rectangles. Roll them up starting from the long side and cut the roll in about 2 cm thick slices.

3. Step 

Place the slices on a prepared baking griddle. Let the cinnamon rolls rise for another 30 minutes. They become twice as big. Stir the egg with a fork and brush the cinnamon rolls with it. Bake them at 250 °C top and bottom heat for about 20-25 min. Let them cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like. Enjoy...
