Cake Pops Recipe. A moist butter cake crumbled with cream cheese frosting. Rolled into balls and glazed with chocolate coating! If you want you can decorate them with sprinkles as i did. Delicious!
If you have some cake left overs you are welcome to use them instead of the freshly baked cake.

For the basic dough mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix in the eggs one by one as well as all the dry ingredients. Fill the dough in a greased loaf pan. Bake for app. 45 min at 180 °C top and bottom heat. In the meantime the frosting is prepared:
Mix cream cheese and butter to a creamy mass. Add powdered sugar and vanilla sugar, mix to a homogeneous frosting. Crumble the baked cake and knead with the frosting. Now you have a mass which you can easily shape with your hands. Make balls of 3 cm diameter and lay them out on a baking griddle. Let chill in the fridge 30 min.
Melt the coating and dip the sticks app. 1 cm. into the chocolate. Stick them with the chocolate side in the cake balls. (This way the balls stick well on the sticks.) Cover the cake pops with coating.
Roll the sticks between you fingers till the excess chocolate drops down. Decorate your cake pops with sprinkles and stick them in the box. As soon as the coating dried you can enjoy your cake pops!
If you want you can add cocoa to the dough. So you get chocolate cake pops.
