The recipe is very easy. The cookies are perfect for holiday season or a small snack for in between.

Knead all the ingredients for the BASIC DOUGH to a homogeneous mass. Divide the dough on 3. One third will become the Chocolate dough: Add the cocoa and milk to this third and knead. Let all 3 cookie dough thirds chill for 20 min.
Now sprinkle your work surface with some flour and use a rolling pin to roll all 3 balls of dough into equal-sized rectangles. Place the chocolate rectangle between the two plain rectangles. Gently roll over with the rolling pin and trim the edges straight.
Cut the three-layered dough rectangle into 2 small ones. Now roll both. Press the ends gently and cut the rolls into slices about 5 mm thick. Place them on a prepared baking sheet and bake at 160 degrees top and bottom heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy...
You can use the leftover edges you have cut to get neat rectangles as follows: Knead together and bake them as "marble cookies".
Of course you can add some cinnamon to the dough if you like...
