Sweet Owl Cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • batter
  • decoration

step by step method

1. Step "cupcakes"

Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until light and creamy and mix in the eggs with salt. Then add milk, flour and baking powder and mix everything to a fluffy batter.

2. Step "cupcakes"

Prepare a muffin tin with paper cupcake liners and divide the batter onto the 12 liners. (Works best with an ice cream scoop.) Bake the cupcakes at 180 degrees top and bottom heat, for about 20 minutes.

3. Step "decoration"

Now melt the couverture. First of all the owls get some eyebrows: As you can see on the picture, one oreo is cut in 4 pieces. Two of them are (cream side down) sticked with some of the couverture on one cupcake as the owl's eyebrows. Now the eyes: Halve one oreo - each half should be covered with cream. And fix the halves as eyes on the cupcake using the couverture as "glue" again. Place the pupils (= smarties) on those eyes (Use my pictures as a reference.).

4. Step "decoration"

Mouth: Cut a small hole in the cupcake and insert a smartie vertically into it. Now decorate all the other cupcakes the same way. The children can also help with this of course. Have fun and enjoy the sweet owls!🦉
