Wash, peel, quarter and core the apples. In a small bowl, whip the egg whites stiff. Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk for approx. 4 min. Then combine the flour with the baking powder and add it alternately with milk to the mixture. Mix well. And last fold in the stiff egg whites.
