This is the most delicious chocolate nut cake. It’s a super simple recipe without butter. It only takes 10 minutes to prepare. That’s the perfect cake for your afternoon tea. Or a special occasion as family celebrations or holidays.
Beat the eggs and sugar for 5 minutes at highest level. Add all other ingredients except the ground walnuts and mix in just as long as everything has combined well. Set aside 2 tsps of the ground walnuts for deco and fold in the left ones in the batter.
Grease a wreath shape pan or a classic bundt pan with some butter and fill in the chocolate batter. Bake at 180 degrees with air circulation for about 35 to 40 minutes. (Exact baking time depends on your oven.) Let it cool off and remove it from the pan. Melt your couverture and spread it on your cake. Decorate with the walnut halfs and the set aside grounded ones. Serve with a glass of milk if you like...
The cake can be frozen in an air tight bag if you can't finish it all up right away.
